Alice Soto, the dedicated farm owner, is passionate about her coffee production and is determined to preserve the farm's legacy for future generations. However, a significant challenge arises as the new generations are not interested in working on the land. Considering this, the SMS Specialty Coffee project stepped in and offered their expertise in farm management, leading to a remarkable transformation of at least 40 hectares that needed renovation. 

Prior to the SMS intervention, the farm experienced its lowest productivity levels, leaving the producer in need of a substantial investment to turn things around. Two years ago, the ambitious objective was set to elevate the traditional farm into a highly productive, top-of-the-line unit. This transformation also entailed adopting new environmental and social principles, making the protection of rivers, trees, and wildlife an integral part of day-to-day responsibilities.
